Powerful Applications
The Universal Switch Control enables programmable logic for Event Logging and Data Analysis, Remote Configuration, Remote SCADA operations and time based device profile management. The powerful processing capabilities enable high volume data sampling for extremely accurate real-time analysis, the ability to spot trends and automatically reconfigure the network. The robust storage capabilities enable capture of granular data around events to pinpoint the cause of failures.

Intelligent
The USC supports multiple motor operators, Current Transformers (CTs) and Power Transformers (PTs). The USC's load and fault data monitoring capabilities ensures real time load reads for future growth planning and fault detection for isolation, sectionalizing, and restoration.

Flexible Communications
The USC provides secure TCP/IP communications over cellular, satellite, RF or wired connectivity allowing you to choose the most cost-effective and reliable communication interface. Its unique dual communication network capabilities enables fully redundant communication paths to ensure high availability. A ground level mount antenna can be installed on either the side or top cover of the vault. The USC can be operated remotely (via SCADA) or locally from a pendant control.

Compatible and Reliable
The USC is compatible with any type of distribution switch equipment and any wired or wireless communications networks. The USC features submersible cables for convenient connection to existing remote equipment. Also included is a 24 volt programmable battery charger with battery test capability powered by local 120v.
